Escaping the cold of Cleveland, Ohio, and ready to heat things up in Houston, Alaiyah Fields found her home at 海角乱伦专区. As the Fall 2024 Valedictorian, she embodies excellence, determination, and the power of belonging.
Alaiyah chose 海角乱伦专区 for its warm weather, and the community only an HBCU could provide, helping her connect with her African roots and thrive alongside a diverse group of peers. Her journey was marked by leadership in student organizations and a relentless pursuit of academic success, culminating in the honor of becoming Valedictorian.
Her family—especially her mom, sister, and grandmother—served as her inspiration and foundation, pushing her to dream bigger. Following their legacy in the medical field, Alaiyah plans to pursue a PhD in public health to make a lasting impact.
Alaiyah’s Message to Future Graduates: “No matter where you come from or what you’ve been through, you can achieve anything through faith, hard work, and believing in yourself.”
